Best alternatives to stay after September 26

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

@ubonjoe and other members of the forum,

Hi Ubonjoe,

I'm GoGet, a very nice and polite guy. We have discussed visas many times in the past here.

I have a EU passport. As far as I know I am allowed to stay here until September 26.

I would like to receive advice on any methods there might be to stay after September 26 as well.

All constructive feedback is welcome and we can discuss this together.

GoGet

Update:

Additional information:

-Under 50

-Extension has been used

-Last time entered at Mae Sot by spending a day in Myawaddy and coming back.

Might help if you state your age and how did you last enter Thailand. Visa exempt, tourist visa etc. Also have you used your extension.

I'm in similar situation, looking how to stay here after 26th of september. I want 3 more months, until now I only have the agent option paying 25k for a volunteer visa.

What are the requirements for a volunteer visa?

Which one? Could you please PM if you can't state it here?

There's no such thing as an EU passport.

Your point?

OP indicated he did border bounce for visa exempt entry 30 day. Most likely passport some European country.

Probably meaning a European based one  ….eg. 1 of the 27 ….or just another European geographic country passport.....

Just helping you out of that E.U. passport thing 😉

Paying 25,000 baht is much easier than putting 800k in a Thai bank or take a one year Thai course.

But the real question is, is this workable and that easy to get a one-year visa?

From reading similar offers, 25,000 baht seems to be the price of the initial Non-O visa issued by immigration, for someone who entered Thailand as a tourist. Good for 3 months only, can be extended but that costs extra.
