PM Prayut orders body of key witness in “Boss” to be kept for further examination

I reckon he was paid to make a statement supporting the claim of 'only driving slowly'.........job done!

Now, however, it could go to court and this guy would never have survived a cross-examination 'they' quickly decided he had to go.........that is why it is important to follow the money and check his bank accounts.

"Prayuth previously said a committee had been formed to look at what led to the case being dropped but it would not interfere in the work of the attorney-general, police and court. The committee has 30 days to complete its task."

So a lovely enquiry but no pressure after the enquiry to reinstate the charges! Does that mean because brown envelopes have already changed hands it is impossible to reverse injustice by dropping the charges or that Prayut has less power than the police in spite of his Emergency Powers?

Best statement he has ever made. An independent autopsy. The video clearly shows him driving straight and something caused him to collapse and the empty bike hitting the median.

Sure, but what does independent mean?

And is independent really arms length away from gov't control or influence?

The more they talk the more unbelievable it becomes. Surely Boss can hire someone to come up with a consistent credible package of lies, not this rubbish we are currently being fed.

Consistent and credible is not in the Thai DNA, lies on the hand are as Thai as som tam and Tom Yum Kung.

"Chiang Rai native Jaruchat was one of two key witnesses in the case against Vorayuth. Jaruchat had testified that the Ferrari was travelling at around 50-60kph when his car crashed into a bike ridden by a policeman, causing his death"

The Ferraris that run at 50/60 km per hour are only those which have just burst a tire seconds before. Not to say the Ferrari dragged the body for 200 meters ????

very strange, now they are saying he died after colliding with another bike,  looking back at the video there does appear to be another bike behind him but this is not what they were saying originally. Maybe the pm realizes there is going to be a lot of people getting pretty irate over boss having the arrest warrants pulled so he is making sure it doesnt catch him as well especially with his and his govts popularity plumetting, might even mean boss remains wanted hopefully, only time will tell

The video shows him rear ending a scooter and then crashing into the medium.

Will taking a 'deeper look' involve kissing a toad again, in order to gain that special insight?

Prayut promises his new Cabinet will only have capable people ...

To get a real 'deeper look' you need to lick the toad several times. Kissing is for amateurs... Licking the right toad will give you lots of special insights ????

Does the insights include some sort of warts?

Anyway they're in a no parking zone. They need to be towed.

That's debatable. The video does not 'clearly show what happened.

I watched the video about a dozen times if not more and I could see no other motorbike

I saw 2 headlights just before the bikes hit the deck. So I reckon there were 2 bikes, one hitting the other from behind??

Well we all know, as do the 2B, that forensic science in Thailand is a commercial enterprise.  So who cares about the results of this one?

It seems that they all assumed that the dropping of charges would remain secret and that Boss could slip into Thailand on private jet and unnoticed with VIP immigration service.  Then he would be ready to start a new life on the hi-so coking scene with new looks and a new name and none of the journalists or low down peasants would notice. They could enjoy the new additions to their offshore accounts without hassles.

Since they didn't make contingency plans in case the ruse was leaked to the public, they are now improvising to make up for the inadequacies of the bare bones screenplay written by half baked lawyers who naively didn't think it would be put to the test.  Now they conveniently don't need to suffer the embarrassment of seeing witness no. 1 breaking down under questioning by the fact finding committee. One more new witness to go but he is a retired air marshal who with the sense of superiority and entitlement is less likely to have a problem brassing it out with obvious porky pies which are the stock in trade of such people. It is hard to believe that, as the owner of an airport limo company he had really decided to ride in a beat up old pick up with lowly witness no. 1 to go on a merit making trip in the wee hours of the morning.

And he was killed right at the most sensitive moment, but of course by an accident.

If not killed outright, the body snatchers were probably on stand by waiting to put a pillow over his head. In the past they were often accused of finishing off accident victims so they could remove their valuables, collect the bounty per dead body and not have the hassle of taking them emergency rooms.

It's not 30 days to explain why the charges were dropped. It's 30 days to come up with new stories that exonerate the investigations, lack of efforts to have him extradited and support the prosecutors apparent view that a prosecution would likely be unsuccessful.

The challenge is to find a story that does this, quietens the minions, fools the international media and restores what they believe is the pristine image of Thailand and its justice system.

Expect something similar to how the Koh Tao murder complaints were eventually brushed aside.

In that case I wonder how long it will take to get Porntip involved in the investigation?

The forensic expert and hand picked Senator who concluded the fake bomb detectors worked.
