Is it possible to get a 30 day ext. for reason of visiting Thai family, after you have already gotten a 60 day ext. for reason of visiting Thai family? I haven't seen any posts about this, so was hoping that might give some of us a total of 90 days from 26 Sept. for a border to hopefully open to do a border hop for ME visa.

When you entered Thailand Visa Exempt or on a Tourist Visa and you did not use up already your 30-day extension of stay, you can still apply for it.  There are no requirements for that 30-day extension, just pay the 1.900 THB at any local IO (but they might ask for a TM30 being filed from the place where you are staying).

This 30-day extension of stay is irrespective whether you also used a 60-day extension of stay for reason of visiting your thai wife/thai dependant child.

Note: There is a confirmed report pre 31 July from someone on a TouristVisa with an expired permission to stay and thus on the Amnesty, who applied at CW for the 30-day extension of stay and then successfully applied for the 90-day Non Imm O Visa (from which he can then apply in the last month of those 90 days for the 1-year extension of stay).  The application for the 90-day Non Imm O Visa has to be done with at least 15 (some IOs require 23) days left on your permission to stay.  The person doing it applied same day, in the morning at the new Muang Thong Thani facility for the 30-day extension and in the afternoon at CW for the 90-day Non Imm O Visa.
