webfact
Roosters return to the ring after getting CCSA okay By THE NATION The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) is now allowing stadiums where cockfights, bullfights etc are held to reopen after they were ordered to close at the height of the pandemic. This time, however, all attendees will be required to practice protection measures, such as wearing facemasks and getting their temperatures. Only stadiums that have been verified by the CCSA can open. tonray
Last weekend spent some time on the lake at Kaeng Krachan national park...while driving down the narrow side road to the boat dock...a bunch of locals setting up for a match....flashing cash and plenty of Lao Khao to go around...perhaps celebrating their government certification...ha ha ha ha

overherebc
The only thing that should be done to a rooster is a slow cook all day in red wine with a few added veggies and tasty herbs.

If you've ever wondered why you see so many rooster statues at Temples around Thailand, it's due to the fondness of a very important 'historical figure' who deemed cockfighting a very noble sport. This is why it cannot be challenged in any real way.
