Thai PM assures no interference in justice process, insists doubts over Red Bull heir case be cleared

Thailand’s Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha assured today that he will not interfere with process of justice, but reiterated that all doubts surrounding the alleged mishandling, by public prosecutors and the police, of the Red Bull heir’s hit-and-run case must be cleared up.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Flash floods killed at least two people and swept through hundreds of houses in northern Thailand, authorities said after tropical storm Sinlaku dumped heavy rains on 18 provinces over the weekend.

Autopsy confirms death of key witness in Red Bull heir’s case was accidental

A second autopsy, conducted on the body of Julachart Mardthong, a key defence witness in Red Bull heir’s hit-and-run case, has confirmed a police report that he died in an accident and that there was no foul play.

UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - North Korea is pressing on with its nuclear weapons program and several countries believe it has "probably developed miniaturized nuclear devices to fit into the warheads of its ballistic missiles," according to a confidential U.N. report.

UTCC predicts 9.4% GDP contraction, up to Bt3trn in losses
