Elephant camp. elephant sanctuary, elephant village ? is there any where they rescue old elephants ?

hi, i have no interest in elephant riding or show and any other attractions for ridiculous tourists, but I want to support elephants.

 

Do you know if there is any elephant camp / village / sanctuary where they really help old elephants and feed elephants that would die otherwise ?

 

I found these around Pattaya, but it's hard to know if any is really worth visiting for someone who only care animals. ?

But maybe there is a better place not famous among tourists who just visit what they are told to visit ?

 

And what about price to visit, how much, and do you think that money is really used to support elephants ?

I don't know what happens at this hospital, but the Thailand Elephant Conservation Center right next door is definitely not an "elephant sanctuary"
