Many parents in Phayao province had to carry their children to school on Tuesday (August 4) because the road leading to the campus had been cut off by floods caused by the Sinlaku storm.

The tropical storm affected several districts, while Ban Nammin School’s 24 students found it almost impossible to get to their classes.

The school director, Nattasaran Phromphao, said he was collaborating with local authorities to have the road cleared soon.

Given the day off would have been more prudent, why risk lives?
