greggraham
...according to someone high-up at HDY immigration. They said they got a document 2 days ago saying the only extensions that can be given to people on tourist visas are for medical/embassy letter reasons. Immigration hotline had previously said it would be at the discretion of each office. Could be a misinterpretation, but that's what we were told. If anyone has had a better experience of getting the 60 day, or converting to Non-0, from tourist visa/amnesty, please speak up.
