TOKYO (Reuters) - Bells tolled in Hiroshima on Thursday for the 75th anniversary of the world's first atomic bombing, with ceremonies downsized due to the coronavirus and the city's mayor urging nations to reject selfish nationalism and unite to fight all threats.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's headline consumer price index (CPI) contracted 0.98% in July from a year earlier, a smaller than expected drop, commerce ministry data showed on Thursday.

Bumrungrad Hospital profit takes painful hit due to Covid-19 crisis

Bangkok garbage collection rate to stay Bt20 for now: BMA

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) resolved on Thursday (August 6) to put off increasing the monthly garbage collection rate from Bt20 to Bt80. 

 

Initially, the new rate was to go into effect from October 1, but has now been postponed to October 1, 2021.

Samui locals clean up after boat accident
