Non Imm Ed visa expires on 1st Oct, How to stay longer?

Recommended Posts

Assumptions

1. Land borders and airports remain closed (assuming cant get covid test, covid insurance, correct visa, embassy approval, etc)

2. Non Imm education visa has run for 12 months and finishes on 1st Oct

3. Not married to a Thai, no Thai children, no cash for elite visa, not at retired age

4 Embassy will not issue letter required by immigration for 30 day extension.

With the above assumptions, how can a Non Imm education visa holder stay longer in Thailand ?

There is a slim chance that some land border crossing will be open by October if Thailand and a neighboring country were to do an agreement to open them.

4. You embassy may change their mind if immigration informs them that they are required.

If you could enroll in a formal school (university for example) and you might be able to get an extension based upon that since the one year maximum requirement does not apply to them.
