snoop1130 Posted August 10, 2020 Share Posted August 10, 2020 Grab agrees to adjust its policies in line with demands By The Nation Call taxi company Grab accepted its Grab Bike partners’ demands on Monday (August 10) and agreed to make adjustments as required. Grab Bike partners from Bangkok, Nonthaburi and Pathum Thani had had initially threatened to hold a rally outside the company’s headquarters if their demands were not met. They said technical errors in the app and Grab’s policy to limit jobs in different districts was leaving customers dissatisfied. Grab responded by saying it was cancelling the district-based limits as of August 17, and will also divide GrabExpress delivery bikes into two categories from August 24 – with delivery box and without. Previously, GrabExpress partners were required to purchase and install a Grab delivery box on their bikes, and many found them unaffordable. Grab has said that all Grab Bikes and partners will be insured at Bt50,000 for accident and Bt200,000 for casualty, which is believed to be the highest in the industry. The company also said it was open to suggestions for development in the future as it aims to reach high efficiency in services. Bender Rodriguez Posted August 11, 2020 Share Posted August 11, 2020 why is there no grab like in malaysia, where normal people can earn extra playing taxi when they feel like at half the price or less than the "regular" taxi here every time I do a grab, see how much the fare is, it comes much more expensive, than regular taxi... I find the complete opposite, here in Issan if you ring a normal taxi you have to wait for a call back that may be 30 minutes or not at all, you dont no the fare until you get out etc, with grab the booking is virtually instant with the make colour of car thrown in, expected eta which is minutes normally and the exact fare all on the online booking app. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
