Well yes, but the British Government we’re keen toddle on behind and play their part.

While insignificant other EU nations wring their hands whilst holding on to the shirt tales to collect any benefits that might come their way!

Didn't recognise Pattaya, Chang Mai, central Bangkok or parts of Khon Kaen......flooded with trash from the UK. Singlet vests, tattoos, beer bellies, smoking, drinking, foul mouthed ....don't know how the locals tolerate them.

"....don't know how the locals tolerate them".

Is it only "trash" from the UK, what country do you come from? I don't like these type of people either, but every one of them will be contributing to the Thai economy. Can the same be said about all these non British emigrants that is being referred to?

Dont suppose you took a Thai Wife along with you, did you ?

Foreigners living in Thailand complaining about all the foreigners living  in their own country ????

Difference is we are all self-supporting, not sucking on a government teat.

The remainder would be taken to an airport and put on a flight and returned to their country of origin.

Fair enough,

my country try to do this with practically  no results,

These "refugees " have mostly no papers, it take ages, and a lot of costs to find out what their real nationality is.

When finally located, it is not sure their homeland accept them back.

There were cases where they were not authorized to debark.
The attendants ( officers ) had to take them back.

It seems it is cheaper to just tell them to leave the country, they may do it, and come back the day after, or just not leaving.

that is not the point

which legal instruments to be used to enforce "stop"?

you claim that  France should stop this because it ain't good for a pregnant woman to travel in a rubber dinghy

and the legal authority to do this is taken from ???

Don't you think that it morally wrong to allow children and pregnant women to set sail in a rubber dinghy into one of the most busiest shipping lanes in the world, at best it is totally irresponsible and whilst these people are in France they are responsible of the French authorities. It seems to me that by ignoring the fact that these people are in extreme danger the French are being less than humanitarian. And I'm sure that if the cargo was drugs they would soon find a way to stop the dinghy, but we are not talking drugs, we are talking about the safety of our fellow humans. The immigrants themselves have proven they don't take their own safety seriously enough, they need protecting from themselves, especially the most vunerable of the 'passengers'.

It happened that escorting officers even had to pay local border control to take them in to their country , Embassy's who even denies they are their nationals , as many trow away their documents before entering western country's (this most Africans )

When police escort them to the supposed Embassy's , they may not be present when the consular service interview them ….. suspected they just ask them  : "do you wish to go back our country  or not ? "…. if not they just say it is not their national country person ….

Hopeless thing under present U.N. refugee status laws  …. outdated now

Not only the French, every European country just wish they leave their ground.

No proper law about it in the E.U..

Maybe there will be adequate laws in the U.K. next year.

Time will tell.

All part of the UK getting its borders back and withdrawing the UK’s half hearted ‘cooperation’ with its neighbors.

Well that and the outcome of wars  and ‘regime’ changes the UK played a part in.

That's sorted, then. Ain't self-flagellation great.

Such intervention would still require a legal basis and the will to stop people leaving France.

I can just see you now on Hastings Beach, Union Jack in hand, waving away, big smile looking at the approaching dinghy's....????????

actually, no, I don't think I can

a general legal principle in EEA and UK is that if its not forbidden its legal

pregnant woman boarding a boat, big or small, is not forbidden

so,

where do the French dig the required legal instrument out of the toolkit to stop this?

it is fully legal to do very stupid things in Europe,

UK and France are both in Europe, at least until UK cut the moorings and the foggy island drifts off into the Atlantic,

ensure proper lookout so you don't bump into Ireland on the way

Sunbeam, Ireland won't be there, the EU just gave them a shock, I hear, so it will be plain sailing with our freedom chap....????

Typical nonsense from a worried bloke....????

try this then.. "But the new economic migrants are less exposed to racism. They believe that Brexit is going to increase economic opportunities for them," Khan added.

Some experts think Brexit offers a unique economic opportunity for British South Asians — something that was not possible with Britain being part of the EU bloc... More than this, there was the hope that once European migration stops, migration from South Asian countries can restart. It is a fight for resources between immigrants"
