Thai AirAsia to focus on boosting non-air-ticket income

Snakes in, school’s out! Slithering reptiles cause chaos in class

Tram-buses to link King Mongkut's Institute of Technology with airport railway

Skytrain operator BTS Group Holdings will conduct a feasibility study with King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang on an electric tram-bus service to link its main campus with the transport network. Also signing the memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the study today was Bangkok Smartcard System.

Thai PBS has obtained a transcript, purporting to be of a phone conversation between Mr. Sakda Wichiensilp, Director-General of Thailand’s Ground Water Resources Department, and an unidentified MP. The MP allegedly demanded five million baht in kickbacks from Mr. Sakda, in exchange for approval, by a panel of the House Budget Scrutiny Committee, of the department’s 1.2 billion baht budget for artesian water projects in the Northeast.

Electricity outage to hit Wichit residential area on Aug 21

(Reuters) - A gas explosion ripped through a Baltimore neighborhood on Monday, killing at least one person, injuring four and trapping children as the blast destroyed at least three homes, firefighters said.
