Honda Phantom Repair

Hello,

I have a little trouble.    Bike starts properly using choke, but as soon as I give it a little gas, it stalls.

So, I will not be able to take it to a shop to get checked out.     Anyone think of any quick fixes I can try?     Or anyone know of a mechanic that would come to the house and take a look and repair?

Any help/ideas would be helpful.

Oh, living in Nong Hoi area.     Just across from 89 plaza, or San Paliieng, down the street from Mae Ping police station.

I check air cleaner, no problem there.   Don't know what else to check?     Thinking fuel filter, choke problem, or?

Thanks all.

If it has a fuel filter blockage that could be the problem.

If it doesn't have a fuel filter then the carb main jet is dirty.

Try draining the carb and see if that will make it start.

If you are not mechanically minded about motorcycles then get it collected to take somewhere Phantom are sooooo simple.

When you start with choke, then I assume you wait until it is warmed up, then put the choke back to it's neutral position, then turn the throttle..., correct ?

If choke is on and engine is cold, turning throttle does kill the engine sometimes....., looks like your carburator needs a good clean or service...
