Obtaining my certificate of residence shortly. Should I obtain 2 RC since 2 licences. I Have current AU license. In au you have one license for car and bike on one license. Paiman
My experience from the MRT office up North. I only needed 1 Residence Cert. for both licences. Even though the IO said I need 2, so I got 2, but MRT was happy with 1 and made a copy of it. I showed up in the morning at MRT, they wanted me to watch a video, but for whatever reason it did not work. Then the Color, reaction and another test. Picture taken, now on 5 years licenses which expire on the birthday. Easy up here, I hope the same for you.
aussiep
Only 1 RC for 2 licences. but 2 copies I had a IDL from Aust, copy frount page and inside. Just walk into any local clinic. Health certificate about 100 thb. you want 2 licences...Make 2 copies of everything. With IDL from OZ only sit colour and brake test. I don't know for sure if you can get Thai licence with just an Australian state licence. Good luck aussiep Edited August 12, 2020 by aussiep add comet 1
aussiep
You might only get a 2 year licence depends on your visa/redance.

Good luck aussiep The IDL as you call it, is an International Driving PERMIT, which is merely a translation of your National/State licence, which you must have to get the IDP and a Thai licence. Also wasn't in the short video in pinned topic in this thread. Thanks.
