Last week at the British Embassy Bangkok

Recommended Posts

Another busy week for the Consular team at the British Embassy Bangkok with 17 assistance cases (helping vulnerable Brits such as victims of crime), 7 deaths and 30 notarial appointments.

We were also busy out of hours arranging for the police to check on the welfare of an elderly gentleman possibly being coerced into making bank withdrawals. A lot of our services are being provided online now and they are much more effective and easier for our customers. We conducted our first remote interview for a child application for an Emergency Travel Document, which speeds up the application process dramatically. The old school way of receiving notification of arrests via fax from the Immigration Detention Centre is now history because we now get notified via email.

Last but not least, we are excited to have started our partnership with Thai Visa Forum and shot a Vlog this week answering questions from the forum members.
