Indonesia reports 1,942 new coronavirus cases, 79 deaths

JAKARTA (Reuters) - Indonesia reported 1,942 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, bringing the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 130,718, data from the government's health ministry website showed.


The Southeast Asian country also added 79 new deaths, taking the total number to 5,903, the highest COVID-19 death toll in Southeast Asia.

how propaganda works..
Indonesia has a population of about 260 Million people. 260 000 000
the yearly deaths are about 1 800 000 (one million and eight hundred thousand) (estimated , last number from before 2010)
900 000 every 6 months
death number covid19 : 5093(five thousand ninety-three)

thats 0.57 % of the expected deaths per 6 month. It is an insignificant number. not to recognise in the total number. Just something in the "white noise"
And because of most people dying with (!) corona have severe other health problems (cancer etc) and have a big chance to of dying even without corona in the next 12 month (mostly elder people) the normal life expetancy is not changed by this new virus.
