Interesting that you say that.

I think we all know that VP to be elected Harris is capable of being more electrifying and charismatic than potus to be elected Biden.

But I think she intentionally played a very smart game to let Biden have the spotlight in that rollout event.

She will be electrifying in the campaign but at the end of the day the VP is not supposed to upstage the potus.

To add, personally I think this was the smartest political and also safe choice for Biden.

I think once elected Rice would be a better governing partner than Harris, but that means nothing if you don't win.

Evicting 45 is job one, for Biden, the democrats, and all decent Americans that want to preserve American democracy.

If, as you clearly believe, Biden and Harris are elected, and Republican groups refuse to accept the result, protest, riot, and loot, as some Democrats or Masquerading as Democrats did, how do you think Biden and Harris will handle that compared to Trump. (As both have openly supported BLM protests, they can't really have a Law and Order platform, can they?).

If, the Republicans take control of Congress and retain control of the Senate, how would Biden and Harris deal with this? Plethora of executive orders?

Oh, sorry I forgot. It's ok for left politicians to be totally corrupt, line their pockets and those of family and friends. Do as we say not as we do and all that.

Some evidence of biden doing this would be nice.

I would think Trump has used up all the paper in the Whitehouse issuing all his executive orders.

Even if he is not reelected he will be president until 19th January 2021.

That's still 159 days. So if he only f$$#$# up once a day that's 159 time too many.

And I really don't want to think about how Trump will behave once he is beaten but still in power.

this is an opinion piece;

I have no idea how Biden Harris would react to 45 if he refuses to leave office after losing and riles up his armed crazy base. That is unprecedented in American history. We haven't had a wannabe fascist dictator before. Another reason that horribly corrupt man has got to go! All decent Americans realize that including many republicans. (See the LINCOLN PROJECT).

There is no chance the republicans will take over the house in this election.

They may narrowly hold on to the senate.

I don't think you can abolish a major tax law such as the 45 tax cut for billionaires with an executive order.

Obviously it will be difficult for Biden - Harris to get very much changed if they don't control the senate, but at the very least the wannabe fascist dictator will be gone.

Biden's already addressed this would be "Must see TV"

I sorta hope the democrats win...it will be fun watching america burn....Defund the police, open up the borders, no more law enforcement, everything will be free, try and tax the 1% but they will all just move overseas so no more tax money to pay for everything....Globalism will drive all the manufacturing to low income countries....

To your point!  I would say the dems that I grew up with, wouldn't let most of what you said happen! But now they (including these two) have gone radical left!

Neither Bidden or Harris are endorsed / supported by Democratic Socialists of America, quite the opposite. Given they both have operated in a really challenging political environment, I would expect them to be able to stand on their own two feet. Some Americans appear to have an extraordinary fear of anything that is not "right of centre", quite weird.

Regards Fauci it's been trump and co who have constantly attempted to undermine him. it will be great to see Fauci working with the Dems, can anticipate a much more constructive working relationship than with the trump world.

In other words, only an idiot appoints a committee then disregards and undermines their expert conclusion.

Yes and in all seriousness the 45 regime has expanded presidential powers to a historic level. It would be naive to assume that the democrats would not use at least some of those new powers when they are in power. Is this good? Do I like that? No! Such powers should have never been expanded in the first place.

Historically untrue, sort by executive orders per year  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_federal_executive_orders

Not trying to 'change' anything, Bottom line they are not endorsed - very big difference and a high level of push back by some members.

Again, why the extraordinary fear, not as though actual socialists / communists will achieve power in the USA

Can’t be worse than now

I think the post you quoted refers to expanding powers, not numbers. But since it wasn't my post I can't speak for it.

I can tell you though that in numbers Trump is at about 2/3 of Obama, Trump in less than 4 years, Obama in 8.
