Wichuda, 37, has complained of business conflicts and stress. A 15 minute video showed various stages of the chase as Bang Sue police and others repeatedly tried to stop her drunken rampage through the streets. After capture she had an alcohol level of 257 - five times the limit. The incident began in the north of the city on Tuesday night in Khae Rai and continued to Tao Poon. She will appear in court today charged with DUI, negligent driving causing damage and injury, not reporting an accident and resisting arrest. Picture: INN Her husband apologised on her behalf. On the way to hospital she spoke of problems with her business and court cases related to that. The police said that contrary to rumor she had no connection to MP Chatchawan Khong-udom or Chat Taopoon - she just happened to be parked outside his address. Unbelievable how ineffective the Thai cops are when it comes to action. They should have smashed the windows or shot out the tyres (assume they never heard of stinger spikes). She had already driven over 2 cop motorbikes. This is probably the worst driving video I have ever seen. Unbelievable... when the cops do attempt to shoot out someones tyres there is an overwhelming consensus of comments implying they are ‘cowboys’ putting the lives of others at risk with potentially errant gunfire. Spike strips... and yes... the book should most definitely be thrown at her. We will soon read how she has a medical problem, has apologised and will attend a temple to make merit for her wrong doing.
