BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's prime minister said on Thursday the economic crisis will not disappear quickly amid the coronavirus pandemic as his new cabinet faces the tough task of reviving an economy expected to shrink by a record this year.

Songkran compensation days off set for September

At its meeting on Thursday (August 13), the Cabinet unanimously voted to mark Friday September 4 and Monday September 7 as public holidays to compensate for this year’s Songkran holidays that were cancelled due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
