Pattaya: Motorcyclist grievously hurt in collision with BMW at North Pattaya intersection

Unemployment figures better than expected, says labour minister

The total number of unemployed people in the country was around 2 to 3 million, according to the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council, compared to 7 to 8 million feared, Labour Minister Suchart Chomklin said on Friday (August 14).

Cambodian busted selling sex at short time resort in Sa Kaeo

Amazing Thailand! "Jelly-gate" - where even the jellyfish could be fakes!

Expansion in food exports likely in second half, experts say

In a joint statement issued on Friday (August 14), the National Food Institute (NFI), the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) said that the overall output of the Thai food industry in the first half of this year had shrunk by 8.6 per cent, while total exports were valued at Bt505.58 billion or 2 per cent lower than the same period last year.
