Chonburi: Thai man out on bail brutally raped and killed Korat woman and left her by the motorway

Thai media 77kaoded reported on a grisly case of rape and murder that has been solved by the Chonburi police.

Pol Maj-Gen Naphawat Arayangkun the Region 2 commander had called for swift action after 28 year old Chonthicha from Korat had been found raped and battered to death in woods next to the Bangkok to Chonburi motorway in Nong Ree sub-district.

CCTV showed a man on a Honda Wave motorcycle with a woman going to the area at 23.59 pm. The man left the area alone at 00.26 am.

He then returned in a change of clothes at 6.38 am.

Suthichai "Ai Pee" Thosok, from Sisaket, was soon identified as the owner of the bike and the likely killer.

Taken into evidence were the bike and two sets of clothing including some distinctive green, white and black patterned shorts.

Suthichai was out on bail after being charged with attempted murder in a case around the turn of the year.

He initially denied murder but presented with the weight of evidence he has told what he did.

He said that while riding his motorcycle he found the victim wandering about opposite a PTT gas station and she asked to be taken to the gas station.

(The media made much of the fact that the victim was someone of diminished mental faculties, notes Thaivisa).

Instead of taking her to the gas station Suthichai took her to the woods and raped her. When she recovered consciousness and started to try and put on her clothes Suthichai decided to kick and punch her to death.

Pictures on 77khaosod showed the rapist/murderer with the shorts he wore and pointing at his motorcycle.

How can this happen?

I hope he will stay in jail for the rest of his life. No more bail possible.

'Panther' man has been found guilty (twice) and he is still out on bail. Anything is possible.

It's not enough he used her for his own sexually gratification, he then decided to take more, her life.

True, he could have done his evil deed and walked away, she probably wouldn't have done anything or even reported him.. but then to cold bloodily kill her is merciless.

So very sad!
Most Societies have given this type of brutal individual too much leniency from justice!
Barring any mental illness, their punishment needs to be equal to their crime. There is absolutely no Forgivable reason or excuse for committing this crime! Eye for an eye!

She was raped and then punched and kicked to death.

Nobody should have their life end like that, young lady at least your pain has ended. And it must have been indescribable.

I hope this man suffers more.
