Thailand is without a doubt bankrupt or almost

People are unemployed and no real help for them

Thailand is far from bankrupt and never will be as long as people eat rice in Asia.

Countries that help the unemployed are socialist ( small s ). Thailand is not a socialist country. People work or die. That's why it has lots of solo mothers working in the nightlife industry.

the world is a much more sophisticated ( in terms of ways to destroy)  place then those barbaric times

of the past.  No more clubs and skull crushing.   Its ohhhhhh so subtle now , slowly weaving its way

through the cosmos and drifting silently into your warm and cozy living room.  Or following you everywhere as you clutch onto the plastic device,  your lifeline to happiness and emotional fulfillment.

No more dinners and conversation.    Smile.   its selfie time

i think you are missing the point too, this topic is not about feeling safe:

Every 40 years Europa used to have a war that killed millions of people

And so bringing work and welfare in rebuilding the countries

would like to know if I am the only one having this notion,

that this virus is just modern warfare

that only kills the weak and lets the workers and tax payers live on

This is the hard reality, now the so called succesfull nation that repelled

the virus is at an economical abyss, because of the military blockade

and they are still talking more blockade,so did they miss the point or not?

What would be the point, after 6 months of destroying the economy, to now open the borders, let the virus in, to infect entire population? So the past 6 months were all for nothing then?

Thailand isn't Europe. If you want to get infected, you're free to get on the plane and fly back there.

virus is real for sure, but very selective so it must be:The new world order killing off the weak

The vast majority of people dying from this virus were on their last legs anyway.

The number aged 80+ is massive as is the number of 70+, lower than that and the numbers really begin to drop off for each age group.

There are charts broken down by age group available depending on where you look if you want to go digging. The ONS is a good place to dig around for UK figures.

What's next? A lot of the above people which I will call 'the vulnerable' were going to die soon anyway, I suspect we're going to notice that people don't die at the usual rate over the next year or two, there will be far fewer deaths in the next 'flu season' than last time because the people who were going to die are gone already.

Watching overall mortality charts and trends will show a peak at the height of a pandemic followed by a trough on the chart where less people than normal die because they died 'early'.

This is something to watch out for, if mortality falls in Thailand at the next expected high point where the yearly peak is expected then it is an indicator of a prior incident which caused early deaths regardless of whether they were detected or not - it will show up in the charts if it was significant.

I think your assumption is incorrect.

Have a good listen to Allen Jones on this, you have to really think hard about what he is saying, the statistics talk for themselves, once they make the vaccine, which I believe they already have, will they force us all to have it, that is the question, why else would we be all locked in countries we are, total control of the masses, it is not that big of a killer than the normal day to day lives being lost from other diseases from tobacco and sugar companies, think hard about what Allen is saying, if you know him as well as I do, not personally, he is one that doesn't take things likely and always stacks things up, that's why Australian politicians fear him.

Lucky for us we live in a country where everyone takes bribes to look the other way.

I'm planning on bribing the nurse with the needle, and collecting my certificate of vaccination on the way out.

I think Thailand did an excellent job in containing the covid virus.  I feel much safer here than in many other countries where continued virus spikes have occurred.

And exactly what did Thailand do that was any different than Spain, Italy, Belgium, or the U.K.?  NOTHING  The countries went on lock down, prohibited travel, asked everybody to wear a mask, and shuttered businesses.  Why does Thailand have such few cases.  Probably two reasons.  One the other countries test a lot more, so they find more cases.  Two, the climate in Thailand is hot and humid.  ALL OF THE COUNTRIES WITH LOW COVID RATES are hot climates.  Thailand DID NOT DO ANYTHING to create the hot and humid temperatures that inhibit the growth of the virus.  Also the younger the average population the less Covid impacts it.  Vietnam with a median age in the 30's has even far fewer Covid cases than Thailand.

For those who think Thailands trade surplus is an indicator of economic health you are wrong.  All it means is that Thailand sold to the USA more goods/services than it bought.  You could just as easily construe that Thailand had to sell the USA natural resources and agricultural products to raise cash for its economy and it LACKED EXTRA CASH TO BUY PRODUCTS FROM THE USA.  The signs of a healthy economy are as follows and has nothing at all about a trade surplus.

5 Signs Of A Healthy Economy

1. Rising Employment Numbers -- More People are Getting Jobs

Of course, one of the first signs of a very healthy economy is what is happening on the job scene. Traditionally, when everyone, both young and old, can land a job virtually anywhere fairly quickly, these can be very good signs of a weak economy turning around 180 degrees. Simply put, when very few people in a city, state, or country are without jobs, this economy's status usually looks very strong and thriving well.

2. Investors Seek to Buy New Businesses

When an economy looks good, investors are much more likely to invest in a new business venture. The number of new business usually rise quite dramatically as the area calls for more things that people want and can buy comfortably. Dissimilar from a struggling economy, people are no longer afraid to buy a small business or make additional investments in ventures since they will have a greater chance of being successful in a healthy economic environment.

3. Consumers Open Their Wallets to Spend More

Another sign of an economy doing well usually begins with the consumer opening up their wallets to spend more money. In fact, people begin to pay more on buying a car, appliances, and a host of new innovative technologies. As these things occur, the sales will begin to increase significantly and the economy in this area is a lot more strong. Unlike a weak or struggling economy, people are no longer afraid to spend what they have earned, and they are free to spend more for conveniences that they like rather than only spending money on the things that they actually need.

4. Banks Are More Apt to Approve Loans to Individuals and Businesses

When an economy is not so good, you can tell quickly when you attempt to borrow a loan from any banking or financial institution. Since the amount of money in circulation tends to be much less in bad economic times, the banks are also more conservative about making loans to people and companies, particularly those that are deemed to be any kind of business risks.

On the other hand, when the economy begins to rise significantly in a more profitable financial state, the consumer can borrow a loan from almost anywhere. This is especially the case when banking institutions begin to compete with other banks to get customers for the money that they are itching to lend to consumers during the best times.

5. Confidence Returns to the Stock Market

If you want to know how healthy an economy is, another place that you need to follow is the stock market. The stock markets around the globe normally have a huge bearing on what consumers are thinking, how well businesses are performing, and how technology is impacting the financial sector. Therefore, if you want to know if the signs of an economy are good, check the stock market to see what is going on. For instance, if the economy is good, you will hear things like the Dow Jones is rising so it is has been a good day. In fact, this is one of the best indicators of how the business world is doing and how economies are reacting to their present financial state.

If you want to know the signs of a healthy economy, you need to make sure that you are watching a wide range of activities around you. Since the economy is actually controlled by a number of different factors, you need to know exactly what you should look for so that you recognize the healthy signs of a growing economy. Usually, some of the most notable include a return of confidence to the stock market, consumers spending more money, financial institutions approving more loans, and investors seeking to buy more businesses.

There’s also a highly speculative theory that people living in mainland SE Asia - Myanmar, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam - all countries with remarkably low infection rates - have populations with extensive pre-existing cross immunity acquired from exposure for generations to other coronaviruses from many species of bats similar to those where the virus originated in China.

Masks seem unlikely to be the reason, as I can confirm that they weren’t being generally worn in January when there was a huge influx of tourists from Communist China, including from Wuhan.

I think Thailand is reacting based on what happens worldwide. If the W.H.O. , together with the Western media , continue to spread terror with alarming news (second massive wave in October, etc.) and wrong guidelines, I don't see why Thailand should open its borders to a potential army of plague-spreaders. Put yourself in their shoes, they hear of deaths and infections increasing every day around EU,US,UK,etc., what should they do? They stick to the guidelines of the fallacious W.H.O. wich, IMHO, is kept on leash by the pharmaceutical multinationals. So be patient and prepare yourself for the vaccine, then you can fly...But that's another story...

New Zealand had a severe lockdown, then no cases for 100 days. Now its back. So you either believe it snuck in on the mail or that it just never went away, but was just circulating with no symptoms as it often does.

Viruses burn out when there are no more hosts, lock down as many governments admitted, just slows the spread, it doesn't stop it. Lock down has just made the whole thing run longer. Economies have been destroyed and peoples livelihoods lost...for nothing.

I do note though that the media, politicians, and their public sector tame doctors spreading the doom, are all still on full salary and benefits.

Actually, there's been a huge wave of layoffs of people who work in the various media thanks to the coronavirus because advertising revenue is way down. As for doctors both public and private, given the higher death rate of health workers. somehow I doubt they're happy about their current employment situation.

The brightest scientists, politicians and financiers behind the institutions saving us from this virus are the same angels that were behind Mao's revolution creating the utopian system in which China lives under today.  A system they would like to roll out globally.  The west has dragged its heals in the terms of mass surveillance, facial recognition and social credit systems,  people in the west, in theory at least, still hold onto draconian concepts such as freedom of speech, freedom of movement the right to assemble, democracy and other orwellian ideas. In China the authorities know what is best and decide whats going to happen, and that's what happens, no need to consult out dated constitutions and such.  Though the time has come to roll out sunshine and lollipops to the rest of the world.  During this pandemic you will notice western police forces starting to act more humane as they do in China.  Never mind the anti maskers and conspiracy theorists some who make ridiculous claims such as, Karry Mullis, the developer of the PCR test stating that the test should not be used to diagnose infectious disease and can only detect RNA genetic material which has many possibilities for being present.  Of course smart people who can afford a TV can clearly see lock-downs, masks, social distancing and curfews are needed because Dr. Tedros and Bill Gates said we should be smart like China.  Of course Gates is the second biggest financier of WHO second only to the US government,  and in my book anyone trying to pass off Melinda as a female should be trusted 100%.  The fascist statistics in Italy stated 99% of people said to have died from covid-19 had one or more morbidity reasons to die.  Similar government statements were made in racist America proving that Black Lives Matter somehow.  In the defence of free speech we all need to unite and join forces in demonizing, ridiculing, silencing and removing the wackos, nutters and their opinions that do not align with ours ensuring we hold the narrative and the ability to change that narrative whenever we see fit. God Speed Comrades.

Excellent thesis that will fall on deaf ears, but it was a valiant try Comrade.

Karl Marx: "The first requiste for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion"

Countries around the people have stopped their citizens from going to churches, temples, synagogues and mosques!

People need to make sure their children can speak Mandarin and read and write in Simplified Chinese and mostly importantly, to never question authority unless they have an overwhelming desire to become organ donors.

He wasn't wrong on all accounts. If you look at his background, you can guess where the ideas came from. It was the bolscheviks that took those ideas and turned them into the murderous communism that spread like a plague to the East.

Pretty much for nothing. The time should have been used to amp up the testing capabilities, building effective tracing network and implementing on-demand policies. Instead, lock it all and lose the economy. It's a monumental failure in government by the usurpers. But that was to bve expected, they are completely usless in anything else except selling the country to China and bolstering their own pockets.
