GeorgeCross
So many are saying that Sweden's decision not to lock down during the crisis saved their economy. Not according to the latest data collated by Bloomberg. It looks like all they did was kill a bunch more people than their neighbours did: src: bloomberg and still trashed their economy.
DrTuner
Economies are all interconnected. Unless many decide to hell with it, let's sacrifice the old, all will slow down.
86Tiger
Well, to be honest, world wide lock down is going to wreck havoc on every national economy as we are too interconnected. As to the number of deaths, I do believe one should wait until the dust clears to declare Sweden a failure. They are finished and on to better things, the rest of the world is still hiding in the basement so to speak. When every one comes out and gets on with life will tell the tale.
