Granada wasn't it ? I rather liked the Humber Scepter around that time, my favourite was the Rover 3500 SD1 and later Rover 800, cool ride

Yep, it was a Granada, and I was about 40 years younger, in the 'Smoke'.........????

No Auto Workers in Thailand are stupid enough to work for Bt.6,000 a month either...... why would they, thats below minimum wage.

You must not know many auto workers.

Know plenty from our village in Isaan that went to work in the car factories for 6k baht.

You think Thailand follows the law for minimum wage?

How much do you think they pay workers that cut sugar cane and rice?

What does cutting sugar cane have to do with Auto workers ?

Unions control the factory workers in the auto Plants and you can bet your left testicle they are getting paid to the letter of the law including healthy benefits and yearly bonuses.

Do you think they pay sugar cane workers minimum wage?

Complete BS. They do not follow the law.

Did you happen to catch the Thai Airways graft story where a maintenance worker charged 419 DAYS of overtime in 1 year? An additional 3 million baht?

That is how the union works.

It doesn't.

How much do they get paid in a car factory then?

Because I'm quite sure they get much more than that, & they get bonuses.

If you are involved with the auto manufacturers on a daily basis, why not post the salaries of auto laborers?

Certainly anyone involved on a daily basis would have this information at their fingertips?

What are you guys going on about workers for? Don't need workers any more. When they retool to make different cars, whether propelled by electricity or hydrogen betcha it's an automated factory.
