Popular Post webfact Posted August 25, 2020 Popular Post Share Posted August 25, 2020 Thai Police seize about 1.6 billion baht of illicit drugs in Kanchanaburi province Thai police, in the western province of Kanchanaburi, yesterday seized a massive haul of illicit drugs concealed in a 12-wheel trailer truck. The drugs have an estimated street value of 1.6 billion baht. Pol Gen Chakthip Chaijinda, the National Police Chief, told a news conference today that the seizure includes 1,385kgs of Ice (crystal methamphetamine), 77kgs of heroin and 500kgs of Ketamine. He said that the drugs were hidden in specially-built compartments under the floor of the truck, adding that the haul is the biggest ever seized in the province.
