I was planning to go to my local immigration office to extend my 30-day visa exempt this afternoon. My local immigration office announced last week that there would be no penalties if I were to apply to extend by today. I have a support letter from my embassy and a medical certificate stating why I couldn't fly out last week. Should I wait? Isn't there a cabinet meeting today (Tuesday) where this will be discussed and voted on?

stranded81
can anyone confirm if the immigration office at MTT is operational and that is where one should go to get an updated stamp (have an "under consideration" stamp asking to report back on OCT 5) 1. The stamp was acquired at MTT so am guessing that one has to return there itself only? 2. Does one have to take new documents in order to get the updated stamp? 3. Is there a google maps link to the MTT immigration office? thank you
