Calach
We can't know what evidence the police has to charge him and if the accusation is true or not, but it's a damn shame we can't bet on it. ChipButty
Often in Thailand people are reluctant to file a report of rape they dont have rape case trained specialist to deal with it, this is what Thai women have told me in the past so a lot of rapes go unreported, Then again there have been a few false rape claims over the years in Phuket, some years ago an Aussie girl got some jail time for making a false claim Edited September 16, 2020 by ChipButty

Popular Post BritManToo
Just now, Razek said: Never speak to a stranger. Tinder don't protact you from rape. My Thai daughter has been taught 'never be alone with a man' unless you intend to have sex with him. Not being alone includes her Uncles/teachers/family friends, and Songtaw/bus drivers when there are no other passengers. It seems entirely sensible to me. Everyone knows the rules, and 'accidents' are less likely to happen. 3

She said that she had met the suspect on dating site Tinder on the 7th and understanding that he was a fellow tourist agreed to meet him at Surin beach on the 8th. While rape is rape and no one deserves that, going to the hotel room with a stranger is not a very wise thing to do.
Popular Post Nanaplaza666
I have heard this before , discussing with family members about what to do ?? If you got raped you go to the police you don't wait for 3 days . So if the family would have said don't be a cry baby just let it go , it wouldn't have been rape ??? I think there is more to this story . Don't get me wrong if it's treu they can hang this vulture but she is in phuket you can meet other tourists in bars and restaurants and on the beach or wherever , but going on tinder to make an appointment and then going to his hotel room , what would she expect to do there herself ?? I think 95% of tinderdates here are about sex the other 5% is about sex as well but 1 party doesn't have the balls to go for it . Again don't get me wrong rapists child molesters or whatsoever they can hang them all .

Swedenlars
I know a case from Sweden. A guy met a girl in a hotel bar. They had a few drinks, then the girl said can we continue our chat in your room ? He agreed. To cut the story short, they had sex and some hours later the girl called the police from her room claiming she was raped. In the court the bartender witnessed that he heard the girl asking the guy if they could go to his room. Didn't help. He got convicted. So that really means before you have sex with a new lady, make her sign a form. I hereby confirm, bla bla bla. I really miss the old times. We didn't need this BS.

However, I also find it very peculiar that a woman just follow an unknown man they met for the first time to his hotel room. To me it sounds more that she might been expecting him to pay, and that did not happen and the result is then a call for rape. it´s a lot of that on Tinder today. Yes she is a scammer stuck in Thailand no money and there was no relatives lol
