He is correct in every statement made as it serves absolutely no benefit in hold a protest with hundreds or a thousand Thai's all close together and not adhering to any social distancing or COVID transmission safety requirements. The protestors will only exasperate and diminish their plight. They will do more harm than good toward their cause. I'm worried about you... Did you attend one of the reeducation bootcamps here in Thailand? Let me break it to you... it will be TENS of thousands out there. And the risk of transmission in the open air will be next to nothing. Pinocchio doesn't know what he's talking about. Your great leader and his corrupted government have been wrecking the economy so far, so there can only be benefit in trying to get them to step down. NanLaew
15 hours ago, snoop1130 said: Prayut said rallies at this time would put Thailand at the risk of a second wave of Covid-19 infections, which would affect the livelihoods of more than 10 million people and further exacerbate the economic situation. He warned that people should not do anything that would prompt another lockdown. The prime minister said he has heard protesters’ call for changes, adding, “I respect your opinions, but today Thailand is feeling the pain that we have to urgently tackle first, and that is to mitigate the economic losses brought on by the outbreak. We should not worsen the situation.” Prayut also warned that political unrest would delay economic recovery, as it would dent investors’ confidence and deter tourists from visiting Thailand once the borders are open. Rallies will also shift the government’s focus from solving economic problems. He explained that many places are already experiencing a second wave of infections, but Thailand has been able to successfully curb transmissions thanks to the collaboration of related parties. That's a five-straw clutch right there.

Lacessit
Delay is the deadliest form of denial. I read that somewhere. The COVID-19 crisis would never end under Prayut's watch, it's that simple. Too useful as a justification.
holy cow cm
In all honesty it is very simple. If he cares so much for the people and Thailand then he would disband all the regime out from the government and out from all government held entities, and he himself gets out and never looks back. This would alleviate the heated situation he is provoking. He needs to see it is him and the regime, not the other way around.

If you have a good immune system, you will not be effected. Hiding behind this is nothing less than sheer cowardice that you are endorsing as usual. If the big man baby so fears the virus, let him face a debate followed by a no confidence vote. Let's see if he is so inclined to climb down from his ivory tower. Forza2002
After that speech by Prayut no prizes for guessing what's going to happen at these protests tomorrow. It doesn't have the anarchic connotations of the English meaning. In Thai you can have a mob of doctors, teachers, whatever
