Optomist
Hello ladies and gentlemen, As the title says, I'm trying to find a van something like the ones in the photos below. I have looked on Kaidee and Bhatsold, not sure where else I can look. If anyone can suggest anywhere I can buy, or anywhere I can search, I would be most grateful. Thank you in advance. ???????? Lacessit
Mercedes and Peugeot? Expensive buys, expensive servicing. Doesn't say what they are needed for. IMO finding secondhand examples of those anywhere in Thailand would be like looking for a needle in a haystack. A Toyota Avanza or Hiace would cost less, nearly every mechanic in Thailand knows how to service them.
baansgr
Suzuki used to do a smaller version. Have also seen a few Kia but not recently

I had just put the photos as an example, does not have to be a particular make , the size of van is what I am really looking for. Thank you. Thank you. There are a number of Thai magazines along the lines of Auto Trader that advertise hundreds of used vehicles including commercials. Mercedes dealers sell Sprinters. denkiblue555
1) one2car.com (already mentioned - good for general vehicles and has English) 2) taradrod.com - also good for general vehicles, no English if memory serves 3) truck2hand.com (mentioned above - good for commercial vehicles) 4) th.trovit.com - not too bad 5) kaidee.com - ok, good for parts / engines etc. But evidently all the young kids these days use Facebook, and I guess there would be a 'van lovers' Facebook page over here or similar which would also bee a good resource (but I try to stay clear of FB as much as possible so don't really know). Most people would probably say that a Toyota Hiace would be hard to beat for Thailand in terms of value for money/ease of ownership etc.... recently upgraded to the 6th generation (H300) which I know nothing about, but seems to be a significant improvement over the 5th gen (2004 - 2019). Let us know how you go!
Lancashirelad
Large semi or high top panel vans are not (yet) so common in Thailand, they prefer to stack cases of beer (or other goods) way over cab height in the back of a pickup.

denkiblue555
There are thousands of these here, and would be an obvious starting point: If the budget permitted, one of the following would be a good base to start from. However, it may take some time for them to show up in the used market: Edited September 21, 2020 by denkiblue555
Lancashirelad
The cubic load capacity of some of the above suggestions is much lower than the type of van the OP has in mind. The Hi-ace probably only half.
