Tropical storm gathers speed, set to strike during weekend

The Thai Meteorological Department reported on Thursday (September 17) that tropical storm Noul, with sustained winds of 80 kilometres per hour, was expected intensify and make landfall between the cities of Hue and Da Nang in central Vietnam.

Ministry suspects price manipulation behind yo-yoing rubber

SRT launches Tak-Nakhon Sawan project for East-West Economic Corridor railway

People along rivers in 24 provinces warned to brace for flooding as Noul approaches

Riverside residents in 24 northern and northeastern provinces of Thailand have been warned to brace for flash floods or runoffs as tropical storm Noul, currently a Category 3 storm likely to become Category 5 or a typhoon, is forecast to shower the regions with rainfall of between 150-200mm from tomorrow until Sunday.

PHUKET: Doctors at Vachira Phuket Hospital have taken nearly a month to conclude that Pornpiphat “Mint” Iaddam, a 20-year-old first-year student at Phuket Rajabhat University who last month collapsed on campus and died after cheerleading practice, died of heart failure.

NESDC promises injection of Bt50-billion stimulus into economy from October
