You signed the WA. You knew all that it contained. If you didn’t then that is crass incompetence.

Honour the treaty you willingly signed.

I call it getting one over the EU, beating them at their own game.

We'll stick to our own rule on our internal borders now thanks.

Some exports are relatively specialised but there are many others such as Welsh lamb, Dennis trucks, etc which are easily substituted.

A 'no deal' trade deal in goods will almost certainly mean no a 'no equivalence' deal in services, and that really will hurt.

You would have trouble substituting Welsh lamb with something else, Nondescript Homogenized Euro Lamb possibly, from a decidedly dodgy Eastern European some-sort-of meat factory. Don't they have EU rules about that?

Services, particularly financial, are still looking like they will stay in the UK. Hey, that's some real Remainers for you.

Call it what you want, won’t change the fact you are breaking international law with your attempt to undermine a treaty you willingly signed and passed in your parliament.

We have lawyers lined up to say that we are not breaking international law.

My lawyers are better than your lawyers. You can have Amal Clooney too, she's useless.

Seems like the UK Road Haulage Association don't share your view

At least Johnson is keeping to his word about one thing. He said '<deleted> business', and there can't be any doubt that he's trying his utmost to do just that.

Who gives a truck what a bunch of truckers say?

There's a pattern emerging here. I keep citing sources, which show the negative effects of Brexit/ No deal, you reply with some abuse about the EU. No point me breaking this trend.

You can quote what you like. It won't stop me breaking my trend.

I never ate welsh lamb in my life nor any lamb from any other country than France (excepted when I travel abroad). Lamb from southern France is famous in France nationwide.

The EU has a right. The UK has a different right.

The two rights are incompatible. So they will just go round in circles.

perhaps the british should take a leaf out the french farmers book and just ignore anything they don,t like.

I am french and not angry, may be happy. Nobody is angry. UK never accepted the EU rules since 1973, always tried to slowdown europe unification and had a special status

Since you export what you fish to the european market, I guess you will have no choice but eating what you fish, whithout any deal

If we were fully self sufficient with no need for international trade or multilateral agreements then you may be right, but the world no longer works like that. Your hero's victory will prove to be pyrrhic.

China doesn't have many trade agreements, they seem to do ok
