izod10
Anyone had car key cut lately?
RichCor
How new is the car, is it one of those ignition keys with a transponder chip potted into the key turn handle? If so you'll either need to go to dealer (or find an aftermarket seller with the special key and instructions of how to add it to the vehicle. THESE can be really pricey. If it's just a standard all metal key then most any watch repair / key replacement hop will cut you a duplicate for less than 100baht.
jacko45k
Isn't there a guy doing this in Big-CX? He has a small kiosk rather than a shop located on the Klang side / left as you walk into the food court.

Has a car with advertising on it parked at the kerb
izod10
Yes thanks for replies. The key has a chip in it,the plastic chip holder and key blade became detached. Have seen the guy on 7/11 corner ,quoted 1500,but turns out he cannot fix. Another 2000 Big Key,but took it to small garage, seems they can do it (repair) for 2 to 3 hundred
