MPs want budget cut for Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment

BANGKOK(NNT) - On the third day of the second reading of the Budget Expenditure Bill for the next fiscal year, members of parliament (MPs) discussed the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment’s budget. They proposed that its budget should be reduced because of a number of issues, including water, wild elephants, land for people to make a living on and dust particles, have not been fully addressed, while also claiming that the functions of different agencies under the ministry are overlapping.
