webfact
Health Ministry handed Bt204m fund for ‘Covid emergency’ By The Nation The Cabinet approved allocation of Bt204 million from the 2020 central budget to fund emergency disease controls in case Covid-19 infections surge. The money will be used by the Public Health Ministry if a second wave of the virus hits Thailand. The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) reported five new cases, all found in state quarantine, over a 24-hour period on Tuesday. Meanwhile the Cabinet also approved in principle the Interior Ministry's proposal to add Covid-19 to the list of diseases controlled under Section 12 of the immigration law. The move will ban Covid-19 patients from entering or settling in Thailand.
