With all the recent discussions on whether Thai caddies should be compulsory, well over 2/3rds of golfers polled in Thaivisa’s Golf in Thailand Survey just published, actually agreed that Caddies do enhance their round of golf.

Watana jailed for 99 years over corrupt housing scheme

Watana Muangsook, a core Pheu Thai Party member, was sentenced to 99 years in jail on Thursday after being found guilty of interfering with witness statements in the Baan Ua-arthorn housing project scandal.

State of emergency set to be extended through October

A Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) panel on Thursday said the government should extend the emergency decree for another month. The decision will be discussed by the CCSA next Tuesday before being considered by the Cabinet on Wednesday (September 30).

Parliament delays vote on charter changes, sets up study panel

Parliament has voted overwhelmingly to set up a joint committee to study motions seeking amendments to the Constitution in a move seen by the opposition bloc and anti-government protesters as a delaying tactic.

Thailand’s Parliament President and House Speaker Chuan Leekpai said Thursday night that he was duped into believing that there would be a vote today on each of the six motions proposing constitutional amendments.

Govt expands 'grow-your-own-veg' scheme after demand sprouts up

Ailing economy to get ‘Bt100bn injection’ from Oct-Dec
