EU Ambassador visits Kem Sokha again

EU Ambassador Carmen Moreno has visited former opposition party leader Kem Sokha at his home in the capital again today. Sokha also acknowledged the visit via Facebook, saying that Moreno made the visit simply because she wanted to know about his wellbeing and security, particularly after his visit to the provinces during the last couple of months.

 

Sokha said: “I expressed my gratitude to Moreno and commended her intention to assist the Cambodian people and enhance cooperation with Cambodia across all sectors amid the pandemic,” Sokha said.

 

“I also expressed my hopes in seeing Cambodia and the European Union continue their cooperation to promote and protect the people’s interest in the current circumstance as well as the future.”
