BANGKOK(NNT)-In the interest of tourist safety once the COVID-19 situation moderates, the Ministry of Commerce is cracking down on counterfeit pharmaceuticals in tourist destinations, while also stepping up efforts against intellectual property (IP) infringements, after already destroying some 700,000 fake goods valued at more than 350 million baht, as a sign of intent to trade partners.
