Wesley Barnes, who works in Thailand, was arrested for allegedly causing damage to the reputation of the Sea View Resort on Koh Chang island, the Telegraph reported. Barnes allegedly wrote reviews on multiple sites in which he claimed that he dealt with “unfriendly staff” who “act like they don’t want anyone here” during a recent visit to the popular resort destination. impulse Posted September 27, 2020 Share Posted September 27, 2020 (edited) Arrested Sep 11 and spent 2 nights in custody according to the ThaiExaminer, which has a pretty good summary, including details of his case, visa status, occupation, who arrested him, what happened then and since then, etc. Well worth a read as a cautionary tale.
