Nonsense. All of what you suggest he said has been debunked as being untrue. That's not correct. At best, you can try and shoot for 'not proven', 'not verified' (and for the most part, you'd still be incorrect). As for "debunked as being untrue", though - only in Trump supporters' minds. 5 1

Popular Post cmarshall
It's clear now the after Jan. 20 Biden's DoJ will have to prosecute Trump, much as they would rather not. His lawbreaking has been too egregious for too long. In the NYT article on his taxes we can see multiple crimes of tax evasion and bank fraud. And the Times has promised that this is only the first of a series of articles based on Trump's tax and financial data. But the Manhattan DA may get there first. Either way Trump and his psychopath children are going to prison. 5

It would set a dangerous precedent and he himself knows that a future Republican president may do the same. But there's plenty of evidence that Trump has at minimum, broken state laws and can certainly be prosecuted for that. If I were a betting man, I'd say the orange man will be in an orange jumpsuit not long after leaving office. 1

Popular Post Opl
"Trump took Forbes on a tour of the penthouse during the presidential election and told the publication that it was the "best apartment ever built" and bragged about its 33,000-square-foot size and estimated value of at least $200 million. The trouble is, according to Forbes, "those comments were typical Trump: boastful and inaccurate." The residence is actually 10,996 square feet and worth an estimated $54 million." https://www.townandcountrymag.com/leisure/real-estate/news/a9285/donald-trump-house-photos/ 4

Popular Post TooBigToFit
Trump is a real model of a American Republican for all to follow. He dodged the draft, cheated on his taxes, cheated on his wives, made deals with the Russians, lied to the American people, discriminated against Black people in his housing and now openly threatens democracy in the US. Well done Donald Trump. May he suffer for his selfishness, greed and apathy after getting a boot inserted into his butt in the next election. 14

Is this another hit piece in the vein of Trump calling vets losers and suckers or the Russians paying the Taliban a bounty to kill U.S. troops? Seems all of these unfounded accusations experience shorter and shorter shelf lives. Let's see how long the "veracity" of this hit piece lasts. Yes, especially now that the "losers and suckers" and the Taliban bounty story have been thoroughly debunked. Right? Er...you wouldn't happen to have a link to those debunking stories would you? I can't seem to find them online. I guess you also think that simple declarations that something isn't true without any accompanying evidence is a sound technique. You should try it with the IRS also, see how far it gets you.

new2here
I have no idea if this report is true or not... but what strikes me here is the timing... given that pretty much everything today is or quickly becomes politicized - and after that, it tend to be polarizing; the timing of this news, to me, seems questionable... To me, so long as he followed the tax law - whatever it is/was, then that’s fine... sure, hearing that he *may* have paid little to no income taxes gives off a negative vibe, i can’t besmirch anyone who takes full, legal, advantage of the tax law to minimize their liability... 1

I admire anyone who legally gets away with not paying their fair share of taxes. The more we pay the more we encourage government waste. Who are we trying to kid here? Is anyone really saying they would side with the irs? Anybody screwing the irs is a hero. Legally? He lied about his business circumstances. It's called fraud. No one is siding with the IRS, but if I was a hard-working nurse, I would have to pay 10 times the tax that Trump paid. People aren't pro-IRS, they are against unfairness. I thought that would be obvious to everyone, but apparently not. 6

If the IRS thinks they are correct and he is paying his legally obligated taxes good enough for me. I do know the left wants to see them so they can (as usual) twist them to indicate something nefarious. And the average human won't have a chance in hell of comprehending tax returns at that level. Better still I would like to know how so many people in congress enter service poor and end up rich on congressional/senate pay. How bout some investigation into that? Would be interesting to know what he told the banks he was making when applying for a loan.
