Horror smash invoking bus en route to Pattaya claims eighth victim

Visa extensions approved under previous amnesty to be upheld until Nov 30

Immigration Bureau Deputy Commissioner Maj Gen Pornchai Kuntee announced the news at a press conference at the Immigration Bureau headquarters in Bangkok today (Sept 29). 

 

PHUKET: Foreigners who had already paid B1,900 and been approved an extension to stay of 30 days from Sept 27 under the previous ‘visa amnesty’ will be allowed to stay in Thailand until Nov 30 at no extra cost.

Two hurt: crane truck rams multiple vehicles in Ubon after 'brake failure'

Thailand’s Hazardous Substances Committee upholds ban on farm chemicals

Contrary to speculation by anti-paraquat groups, the Hazardous Substances Committee has reconfirmed its ban on the production, import, export and possession of the herbicide paraquat and pesticide chlorpyrifos, which came into effect on June 1st, 2020.
