Video: Giant King Cobra fights back! But expertise of snake catchers prevails in the end

Recommended Posts

Any experts out there. Is this an accepted method.....?

Just surprised that if they are supposed to be "expert" snake catchers that they don't seem to have any long poles with nooses and whatever else would normally be used. Relying on a plastic tidy box and grabbing its tail seems a bit fraught to me.

Well whatever their choice of equipment to catch it, they showed great courage and captured it without harming it at all.  Kudos to them.

No argument there. Just thinking it is an overly dangerous way to proceed but up to them.

But then you couldn't sell it to another poster to turn into handbag or shoes for his wife... Or maybe, if holes were in exactly the right place...
