Former Pheu Thai candidate threatens to sue the Election Commission

A former election candidate, for the opposition Pheu Thai Party, has threatened to sue the Election Commission (EC) after the Supreme Court’s Division for Election Cases dismissed the EC’s petition to revoke the candidate’s election rights and seek compensation for the expense of holding the resulting by-election.

PHUKET:-- Regional health ministry officials today (Sept 30) conducted a demonstration test of the COVID-19 test laboratory at Phuket International Airport, ahead of other regional medical officers conducting a formal inspection and test of the COVID-19 test and prevention measures at the airport tomorrow.

Thai second-quarter household debt jumps to 83.8% of GDP as economy shrinks

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's household debt level to gross domestic product (GDP) jumped to 83.8% in the second quarter, the highest since 2003, central bank data showed on Wednesday, as the pandemic hammered the economy.
