AC/DC have announced a reunion, featuring members who had left the classic rock band in recent years.

A new post on their Instagram account depicts vocalist Brian Johnson, bassist Cliff Williams and drummer Phil Rudd, all of whom had previously departed.

Johnson had been the band’s frontman since 1980, following the death of original singer Bon Scott, but had quit in 2016 due to hearing loss; Williams retired in 2017.

It’s Rudd’s third stint in the Australian band, first playing from 1975 to 1983, then rejoining in 1994.

More like A than AC/DC, the real band died with Bon, Johnson was a poor replacement and any band without Angus is no AC/DC.

If you read the full article, you’ll see that Angus is still in the band as he never left.

Johnson was a fabulous replacement, and Angus is in there, complete with (now looking odder than ever) school uniform?

How do they keep on going? I love hard rock but in my view you've got to mix it  with acoustic or lighter material too, cue Led Zep, Rory Gallagher etc, variety is the spice of life

AC/DC have written some rock classics, fantastic head banging, air guitar acrobatics but at their age, ain't it time to pass the baton?

For those about to rock, may God save their souls.
