webfact
Video: "Just teasing" or child abuse? Lawyer defends action of "Khru Ing" at Sarasas Picture: Sanook A lawyer acting on behalf of three staff at the center of abuse allegations at Sarasas Witaed Ratchaphruek School has put a different spin on one incident caught on CCTV. Decha Kitiwithayanan said that "Khru Ing" was just teasing the child by making it look as though she was putting a black bin bag on the little student. Others have claimed this was child abuse pure and simple. The lawyer said this video had to be "put in context" and that not everyone in this case was a "bad person". He also said that in cases like this people are criticized for having lawyers but that is their right just as those in murder or rape cases would have someone speak for them. He said that Ing, Phrae and Phraew - the three staff that are more like nannies than teachers - are stressed and confused so have not yet gone to Chaiyapreuk police. He plans to take all three this week. Decha is a very high-profile lawyer in Thailand that acts in major cases, notes Thaivisa. Popular Post JusticeGB
These are young children putting a plastic bag over the head of any of them is dangerous. It also sets a very bad example to the children who may copy the teacher's actions out of class and actually accidentally kill one of their friends. 4

overt2016
doesn't look much like a tease to me. It is both intimidating and very dangerous to the child, I assume the lawyer doesn't have children. If he does, he is only after blood money. Shame on you buffoon.
Scott Tracy
Lawyers... Shysters, until you need them. This guy is using the court of public opinion to get the case dismissed, or to create a mistrial as the jury pool will have been contaminated. If I were a judge, I'd haul his ass in my court on contempt.
kidneyw
Bet if it was this lawyer's kid, he would have a different viewpoint.

If anyone ever criticizes you for getting a lawyer, draw comparisons between yourself and a murderer or rapist.
