geovalin Posted October 9, 2020 Share Posted October 9, 2020 Cambodia’s former Consul general to the city of Kunming was convicted and sentenced to seven years in jail by the Phnom Penh Municipal Court today after being found guilty of embezzling more than $30,000 during his tenure in China between 2016 and 2018. Kruy Lim Heng , 45, former deputy secretary general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and former Consul General of Kunming, Yunnan province, was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Unit on December 27, 2019.
