Popular Post webfact
Video: Maybe think twice before buying "Thai tea"! "How would you drink this?!" /Picture: Sanook A video posted online showed what had happened to someone's Thai tea they had kept for a couple of days in the fridge. It was no longer liquid. Gloop or slime was more accurate. Sanook said that the post was made by a senior civil servant in Sankamphaeng in Chiang Mai. They had bought the 10 baht drink from a female trader and left it for two days before remembering they had it and trying to pour it in a class. That proved impossible! Popular Post MaxiMaxi
Caramellized probably, a lot of different sugars used, and after water parts evaporated remained only the solid parts.... 4

Andrew Dwyer
Often find a complete lack of tea taste in milk teas bought here, often ending up with a sweet milky drink. A lack of patience to actually let the tea brew is often the case and, as someone already stated, the urge to throw in condensed milk is great. I always ask for a little sweet ( wan nitnoi ) which seems to help but find Amazon tend to be stricter than most in making a Thai or Green tea that actually has some tea flavour. It wasn't hideous stiff when there was no refrigeration units. In the tropics it used extensively .Milk will.turn sour within 4 -5 hrs without it being refrigerated. Condensed milk no problem.
