Trump slams Facebook, Twitter for taking down Biden story in NY Post

Don't accept claims as facts please.

What claim is that? The business partner made a statement to the press, that is a first hand account. You would next have to make a claim he is lying? Sure you can do that. You can claim the laptop is fake, the emails fake, you can continue down this road. But that road is ending. But out of curiosity, what evidence would you need to see before you yourself would suggest that Biden resign his candidacy for the good of his party and for the good of the Country? I will hold you to it.

People are having fits arguing that a claim of dubious origins must be true and prove....what?

The original NY Post article wrote that a Burisma board member wrote an email to Hunter Biden with the sentence:

"“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads."

That's it.  There is no proof of a meeting.  If a meeting did happen, there is no proof that VP Biden was motivated to change US policy to Ukraine (or anything else) by the meeting.

If all the speculation is true (a big "if") then it means a meeting that Joe Biden forgot about led to nothing.

So what?

There is just so much more. But hey, just ignore it.

Everything in my post was true.  You have posted nothing to refute it.

Now you are implying that the DOJ, under a Trump sycophant appointee, withheld evidence pertinent to the impeachment hearings that would have aided Trump.  You really come across across as being off the deep end.

Atty General Barr is not a sycophant appointee of Trump. The two men never knew each other before Barr took the job, and he came out of retirement precisely for the reason he did which was to attempt to right a wrong. Attorney General Barr was Atty General under Bush I , and I am not off the deep end, and do not make such claims as to my mental health because you disagree with my argument. That simply shows weakness on your part to argue rationally. So let's just let this lay. We now have a laptop. a signature of Hunter Biden, A business partner corroborating and adding to the story, reeipients of emails acknowledging the emails, and FBI admitting they have it.

Add this to the previous info we have on Ukraine. Let's just see where it all goes. Guess what, one of us is wrong. Dead wrong.

My guess, and I am serious, is that Joe Biden is going to bow out soon. I hope he does for the good of the my Country. Hope that does not anger you, as I know you have much vested in your candidate for President of a foreign Country.

Sorry Bruce as funny as you may think that is - it was not me who said it. And someone did. It really is not funny. For my part I was very appreciative because it at least was someone being honest as for what the reason was for continuously attempting to rip Donald Trump despite not even being an American. Just as if I was commenting on what another Country is doing, I would only have a strong interest if I had reason to have such a strong reason, otherwise its only mild curiosity. No one spends all there time here commenting on US policy unless they have reason. I know my reason. I am American. I have a vested interest in my Country. Having an opinion and discussing is one thing, but having an absolute hatred to the point that you even claim to know more about a subject then an American - even to the point of claiming to teach him how his own Government works is what goes on here everyday. I understand what is going on by the way and who and why they are doing it. It's certainly bigger then US/Australian relations and involves more Countries. Laugh all you want.

I think I know which poster you are referring to.  I asked him what he thought about being a citizen of a US ally with defense treaties with the US and Trump's habit of insulting allies, tearing up treaties and abandoning allies in a time or war.  He didn't reply.

Though it could be the one who just had faith Trump would always stand up to China.  I pointed out that Trump would abandon Australia and anywhere else for a good trade deal with China.  He also didn't reply.

However if you are keenly interested in what the rest of the world thinks of Trump, there are sources that tell you:

You tell lies here Bruce. What treaty is it you refer to that he tore up? Which allies abandoned in time of war?  Why would you say the United States would abandon Australia under Trump? As just the opposite has been happening. It is wrongful for you to say such things. but please answer my questions.

From the article...

while the date on the May 2017 e-mail would be nearly four months after Biden left the White House, it’s not known when discussions among the partners and with the Chinese first began. Certainly they started before the e-mail. And while such deals would be legal for Joe Biden when he left government service...

O.K.  Let's ask Joe to divulge all of his business dealings with China (and elsewhere?).  He hasn't made a peep about having any Chinese related business dealings.  Why so secretive?  Perhaps it would lead to more, do ya think?  And if he's running for president wouldn't any business dealings with the Chinese (especially if tied to the CCP) be of critical importance to disclose?  National security risks apply?

Wouldn't you want to know, simple1?  I sure as hell would if I were voting.  Or would all of that just be dandy with you?  I mean aren't you at all concerned?  I don't think ignorance would not be bliss here.  What if the roles were reversed and it was Trump?  Would you want to know?  Would you defend Trump in the same way you would defend Biden?

Well, a Republican led Senate investigation could not find evidence of Biden corruption.  What do you know that they don't?

Uhm, they found a lot of evidence pointing in that direction.  Aside from that that was not the final report.  That investigation is ongoing as we write.

He tore up (abandoned) the Paris Climate Change agreement and the Iraq Nuclear Treaty.  He abandoned the Kurds, our only capable ally in the Middle East, during the Syria War.  Trump was clearly fishing for a big purchase of farm products for China in time to make an impact in the election.   https://www.wsj.com/articles/john-bolton-the-scandal-of-trumps-china-policy-11592419564/

Clearly the tactic here is to throw out unsubstantiated BS.

What evidence pointed in that direction?  Remember the rule from the Mueller Report--no indictment means total vindictation.

How can the investigation be ongoing if the report has been released?  https://www.cbsnews.com/news/hunter-biden-report-burisma-ukraine-senate-republican-released/

Do you understand what the definition of a Treaty is in the United States? look it up Bruce. That Paris agreement never had the backing of Americans to succeed in being a Treaty. That is why Treaties are very important. There must be a strong consensus among Americans before we enter into a Treaty. The rest of your post is opinion. Are you a fan of Neo conservative war monger John Bolton? Worst mistake ever made by Trump was letting that guy anywhere near foreign policy of the USA.

I'm sure Joe Biden will be happy to release all business dealings with China and elsewhere, if he hasn't already done so.

How about Trump?  Shouldn't the sitting President do the same?

The report was from a Senate Body that is not in the business of indictments. They passed their findings on to the DOJ.

And what were the conclusions of this Senate Body regarding illegal activities by the Bidens?

My understanding is there is allegedly a mix of real and false content on the HD/s, until forensic examination is completed I'll take it all with a ton of salt. trump has blocked all forensic examination of his personal business and family matters, not a whisper of concern from trump supporters / repub politicians, although they have a long track record of highly questionable business dealing and malfeasance, even with charities monies. The email you refer to, I assume no criminality has been confirmed. Even so the environment is so toxic, IMO current US political space has been ruined by trump. In the meantime trump and family malfeasance is conveniently being shrouded in a massive maze of denial / defection generated by trump and his enablers.

The story that there's a mix is pure supposition because that can't be confirmed by anyone as they don't have physical possession of the drives.  In my view it's just another half cocked theory but all in an effort to obfuscate and cast doubt.  Come out with a dozen or so claims, hypotheses, theories to keep the focus on the validity of the data so that the only truly important part, the data, is ignored.  Just a bunch of meaningless chatter to divert attention from the actual meat.

As to whether there was confirmed criminality in the email(s) that were verified by recipients or otherwise is neither here nor there as far as I'm concerned.  Let it all get verified (the content) and then we can sort through it to see where corruption exists or not.

There's corruption in not only both U.S. parties but in all political parties anywhere in the world.  That much I'm sure we can agree on.
