After 4.5 years and tens of billions of pounds the UK is still no closer to a deal with them. So lets just move on and go WTO. Leave them to squabble amongst themselves. We'll remain open to a fair, mutually beneficial FTA and as soon as the EU gets their house in order (my guess would be 2025) we can sign it. Until then, WFO with WTO. The UK had the best deal it was ever going to get. The difficult organisation is the one that wants all the benefits without it costing them anything. Highlighted by Westminster wanting to keep Scotland and NI without paying any respect. 2 1

Popular Post Rookiescot
4 hours ago, transam said: Then you tell me, why that at the last GE, the Lib Dems promised the 48% Brexit remain, and those Brexiteers that may have changed their mind, a 100% remain in the EU, YET, in the GE, voters left the Labour Party and the Lib Dems in their droves.... Now to anyone with half a brain would realise that the populace voted for Boris to get Brexit done.... Can you explain...? Ah now thats more like it Trans. A cutting question indeed. The fact is there are few "floating" voters. People are simply not that politically engaged so they vote for what they always voted for. Which is usually the same party their parents voted for. Now in the last GE you had a unique situation. Corbyn was as much use as a chocolate ashtray. Farages party only stood in seats where they could damage Labour (remember he stole the money from the candidates in other areas? Nice guy) and the Lib Dems have very little hope of winning anywhere. Voting for them in most constituencies is a wasted vote. So the Brexiteer vote was focused on the Conservatives with their oven ready deal (lie) and everyone else was playing catch up. Yes Johnson got his majority parliament (first past the post is a shockingly bad democratic system) but its not because he was better. He only got 43.6% of the vote compared to the 52% who voted for Brexit. Its just everyone else was worse. This of course is only applicable to England. In Scotland we have someone better to vote for. 3
