enkiki
I'm trying to get a SIM card on the AIS website and they are asking for ID. No option for Passport number or Thai driver ID. Also, no English language option for the Get Sim Card section. https://store.ais.co.th/en/sim-card-new.html Anyone got their AIS Sim Card online? If not, I guess a visit to their shop would be the easiest. Edited October 17, 2020 by enkiki

ehs818
Just go buy one from a 7-11 or Tukcom, or Panthip or any IT center. You'll need your passport or Thai ID. Simple.

Celsius
Asking 3 years later if it is now possible to register sim online with a passport or do they still only accept Thai ID. Any company is fine....true, dtac, ais....whatever
treetops
I registered a dtac SIM on their app using my UK passport earlier this week. A bit unusual getting the passport number recognised but working OK now.
